Technology

Argos Intelligence is advancing the state of the art in monitoring and simulation by combining advanced algorithms with cost effective technologies.

Turbulence Effects Correction

The OPtimal Turbulence Effects Correction System (OPTEC) system is a plug-and-play capability for restoring atmospherically degraded full-frame-rate video in real time across various sensor platforms, video formats, and video resolutions. OPTEC is being developed under funding from from the U.S. Army. By implementing established image processing algorithms in a programmable GPU, Argos Intelligence is bringing advanced image restoration and image stabilization to existing and future imaging systems.

Additionally, Argos Intelligence is currently under contract with the United States Air Force to develop a new line of realtime, low-latency turbulence effects mitigation algorithms.

Atmospheric Modelling

Argos Intelligence is developing the Atmospheric Effects (ATMOS-FX) support library for generating high fidelity simulation of optical propogation in the open atmosphere. ATMOS-FX simulates scattering, absorbtion, refraction, and optical turbulence effects to support algorithm and system development efforts.

Defense Systems

In collaboration with its key partners, Argos is developing a new line of defense system  development capability for analyzing and deploying sensors, weapons, and control systems for defense against rockets, artillery, mortars, and Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) or commercial drones.

Passive Ranging

The Turbulence Enhanced Monocular Passive Rangefinding (TEMPR) Algorithm was developed with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) to exploit  turbulence to estimate target range.

Deep Learning and Machine Vision

Argos and its key partners are developing novel concepts and algorithms in machine vision for automated target recognition, super-resolution, and optimization.
